Solar Loline (electric boost)

Rheem solar water heaters have never been better value and the new Rheem solar Loline electric models offer an energy efficient hot water solution, taking away the worries of rising energy prices. The Rheem solar Loline electric provides the flexibility of an indoor or outdoor location for the storage tank. The booster element is suitable for connection to either an Off-Peak or Continuous power supply, for heating during periods of low solar energy from the sun. The booster can be controlled manually with either Rheem’s “One Shot Control” (available separately), which allows a single boost at the press of a button. Or a simple on/off switch. Rheem’s new generation of solar water heaters provide the benefits of greater savings today while caring for tomorrow’s generation.

Solar Loline (gas boost)

Rheem has developed a new range of solar water heaters, which reduce household energy costs and contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions in the atmosphere. Featuring fully automatic time controlled gas boosting during periods of poor solar gain, the full benefits of gas water heating are maintained with Rheem’s unique leading edge design. The Rheem solar Loline gas model has lower greenhouse gas emissions. Rheem’s all copper absorber panel and Chrome Black selective surface are designed to draw maximum heat from the sun. The efficiency and superior performance of Rheem’s gas boosted solar Loline system makes it equivalent to a nine star gas water heater*.  

* Based on modelling to AS4234 (when installed with two solar collectors) in zone 3, and comparing to the minimum requirements of AS4552/AG102 for a storage water heater.

The Rheem solar convertible features roof mounted, long life solar collector panels with the water storage cylinder located inside or outside your house. This offers you the double benefit of a clean looking roofline plus the ability to team up with a suitable electric water heater for automatic boosting on days when the sun doesn't shine! With the Solar convertible models you have the option of adding Solar Collectors to your existing electric water heater or alternatively install an electric water heater now and add the solar collectors in the future.

Solar Hiline

You can expect all the same quality, reliability and service plus Rheem's Mains Pressure Advantage. The Rheem Hiline is a clever self contained design. It combines long life solar collector panels with a water storage cylinder, all mounted on your roof for simplicity and space saving. It requires no motor or pump, working on the principle that hot water, just like hot air, rises when heated. It's the easy way to have the sun help to pay for your hot water.

Solar Loline (collectors)

Patented tapered riser tubes control freezing in cold conditions, providing passive freeze protection for the solar collector on the Hiline System. Chrome black selective surface draws maximum heat from the sun, even on cloudy days, without losing heat back into the atmosphere. All copper absorber panel and low iron glass provide a higher transfer of heat into the water. Toughened glass provides impact resistance against hail.
